Transformers star, Shia LaBeouf has signed on to star in the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of crime author, John Grisham’s book, The Associate. LaBeouf will be playing a Yale law student who has a secret that leaves him vulnerable to blackmail. This adaptation will be written by The Departed writer, William Monahan and produced by Paramount Studios as reported by Daily Variety.
