Western abbastanza gradevole, la regia di Sergio Martino non è proprio eccezionale in questo suo primo dei due western da lui girati (L’altro è il capolavoro Mannaja). Alcune sequenze sono ben fatte, altre a dir poco demenziali, infatti molto spesso si perde il filo logico della storia, comunque le belle scene d’azione, le suggestive inquadrature e Anthony Steffen, fanno di questo western un’opera aprezzabile.
