But this isn’t your typical horror film, because five years earlier, the director and star of the movie made a bloody escape from a psych ward five years earlier and may still be on the loose.

When the film starts to roll and the heckling begins, the atmosphere in the theater is loose and fun. When one of their friends is viciously murdered right before their very eyes – right on the big screen – Laughter gives way to fear as the horrified audience realizes that it is no prank.

When they try to run, they realize that the same psycho they just saw on the silver screen has now trapped them all in the theater. With no hope of escape and their numbers thinning fast, the survivors must figure out a way to turn the tables on the very same killer that they once rooted for in the cult slasher flick. Caught between reality and the screen’s flickering shadows, they become the unwilling stars of the very horror movie they were watching.

Haunted 3D Cut (2011)

2011

Genre

Horror

Achint Kaur

Arif Zakaria

Mahakshay Chakraborty

Sanjay Sharma

Tia Bajpai

Set in the misty mountains of Koti, “Haunted 3D” revolves around the sprawling Glen Manor, a mansion with a secret past and a haunted present. The film centers on a 20-year-old Berlin native Lena (Karoline Herfurth) who gets by as a petty thief. On one of her nightly job runs through an underground club, she meets 250-year-old Louise (Nina Hoss). Don’t let her age fool you. Louise is a glamorous vixen, who is not only the owner of the club, but also the leader of an unusual all-female vampire trio – the other two members being wild child Nora (Anna Fischer) and elegant Charlotte (Jennifer Ulrich). Louise falls head over heels in love with the scruffy Lena and bites her during their first night together. Once bitten, Lena discovers the curse and the blessing of her new, eternal life. She revels in the glamour, parties and infinite freedom. But she quickly discovers that the endless blood thirst and murderous appetite of her new girlfriends come at a steep price. When Berlin police commissioner Tom Serner (Max Riemelt) begins investigating the women, it is just a matter of time before their day comes and events spiral out of control.

City of Life and Death Cut (2011)

2011

Genre

Horror

Bin Liu

Gao Yuanyuan

Hideo Nakaizumi

John Paisley

Lan Qin

Liu Ye

Ryu Kohata

Wei Fan

Yiyan Jiang

Yuko Miyamoto

A dramatization of the 1937 invasion and rape of Chinese capitol Nanking by Japanese troops.

A dramatization of the 1937 invasion and rape of Chinese capitol Nanking by Japanese troops.

The Silent House – La Casa Muda Cut (2011)

2011

Drama

Genre

Horror

Abel Tripaldi

Florencia Colucci

Gustavo Alonso

Maria Salazar

Based on a true events occuring in the late 40′s in a small village in Uruguay, “The Silent House – La Casa Muda” is groundbreaking horror filmed in one single continuous shot of seventy eight minutes.
